 At Horizon Spine & Pain, our goal is to improve the quality of life by controlling pain and restoring function. We help shift the focus away from pain, empowering patients to regain control of their lives. Our dedicated team offers a multi-modal approach to alleviating pain, which includes medications, non-surgical interventional procedures, physical therapy, and rehabilitation. We are focused on accurately diagnosing the root cause of your pain. Our process begins with taking a detailed patient history and conducting thorough physical examinations. We carefully assess your symptoms and concerns to identify the underlying issues. To ensure a precise diagnosis, we utilize advanced imaging technologies, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Rekha Galla

Dr. Galla is a board-certified anesthesiologist with ACGME fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at West Penn/ Allegheny Hospital. With extensive education and hands-on experience in all facets of pain management, she is proficient in both traditional and advanced pain-relief techniques.

Dr. Galla committed herself to offering compassionate, cutting-edge care to help our patients achieve a pain-free life. She has dedicated herself to serving Southwestern Pennsylvania for over 15 years including Uniontown and Waynesburg, by improving the quality of life for residents. We offer a one-month Pain Management rotation as part of the residency curriculum for the cornerstone Family Practice program. During this time, residents will gain valuable experience in treating various pain conditions and utilizing different pain management modalities.

Dr. Galla is an active member of several leading medical organizations that reflect her dedication to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge and pain management which include American Medical Association (AMA),  American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASSIP) and American Neuromodulation Society (NANS).

When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys nature adventures, gardening and traveling.
